I feel that... after talkin wit my pops, he shed some light on the situation for and sort of changed the way i feel about lebron. These days the NBA in general is more business than anything. Coaches as well as owners are quick to trade a player with no recognition of the players wishes or desires, and even going as far as not even telling the player of the trade in order to give them a better chance for a championship. There is no sense of loyalty to the players, so why wouldn't Lebron go to Miami to give imself a good chance to win a chamionship. The three players together can either be a chamionship, or a disaster. I guess we'll find out soon but 1. you cant really blame him for goin to miami 2. him goin to miami shouldnt take him out of the running of being one of the best players to ever play the game

I don't think it takes him outta contention for being "one of the best" but if he wins the chip it won't mean as much to me with this squad because on any given night, chris bosh could be the Player of the Game.

it was a cop-out by LeBron. plain and simple. ppl(especially those who slurp him, lol) need 2 realize dat he dont have dat trait dat MJ, Bird, and Magic had and wat Wade and Kobe have. dats y he went 2 miami, cuz he dont have da mental toughness 2 lead a team. he smile and preens 4 da camera when they winnin but when they losin he sulks. he needed sum1 to take da responsibility of bein da guy dat goes upside his teammates heads when they playin like shit. i woulda liked 2 see him go 2 da Knicks of Chicago, not as a fan of any of those teams but as a fan of b-ball in general. it would renew da old east conf. rivalries and make for interesting play-off series'. LeBron will neva be mentioned wit da Greats in NBA history. He'll just be anotha good player on a championship team.

Every1 needs to leave da MAN Lebron alone and grow some balls...people are so consumed with his decision leads me to believe u aint got shit else to do but ride him....hes an amazing player and carried his team very well with on and off good support but hes also smart why should he have to carry the weight of a whole team when there is a better opportunity out there and he can begin to make changes in the NBA profile because every1 knos if Kobe gets this ring the hype will only get worse. Im not sayin he doesnt deserve it Im sayin he made a choice jus like Bron did. Hes taking the opportunity to say it has been done and the Lakers will not take another ring. No1 gets on the teams that wanted Lebron because half the haters are only mad cuz he didnt go where they lives were focused on him going and if he did so many ppl would not be talking shit and if so it would shift dramatically jus because of the state. My advice play 2K make ur own trades and let the man carry out his dream of getting a ring and being the best not a dream of carrying a team until he gets them all organized enuff to get a ring. :D

alot of sports is about the thrill of the competition. in the 90s we grew up watchin fierce comp! knicks bulls heat pacers magic all had good squads and all went at it. i think we prematurely automatically assumed we would always see that competition, and lebron and wade simply dont care about it. bron has always looked funny in the light and if we think about it this shouldnt surprise us. we say the punk ass move he did when he got dunked on pullin da tape, speakin of gettin dunked on he never slid in the dunk contest always thought he was too big for it. we seen da bitch move wen he aint dap up orlando after they slapped em around and the only reason he dapped boston cuz he knew he was out. if thats how homey wanna roll, fine, but im #teamknicks to the death! - Mike Lawrey

aight aight im a knick fan as well so this may be a little biased. lebron james had a chance to be the best player ever until this move. as cly put it he is no longer superman, and not even batman, he is now dwayne wade's robin. no matter how many chips the heat win with this team, dwayne wade will be one better than lebron, and thus be considered the better player. had lebron come to the knicks, he would have had a legitimate chance to win a chip this year. however if they didn't, both chris paul and melo have expressed interest in coming to new york next year. it would have been lebron's team in the biggest stage possible in professional sports. with that being said, the heat could win 5-7 championships over the next 10 years with these 3 on the floor together, however i think their egos will come into play sooner or later. #knicks2011

aigh peep peep..so wat if LBJ went to the difficulty settings of his life and turned it from all-madden to rookie?? he doesnt care about competition and all dat stuff at the end of the day..other people and fans do but at the end of the day HE doesnt, he wants chips and he doesnt care how he gets them and if teamin up with the best to get them as quickly and easy as possible is his choice den y hate? rather dat den kobe get anotha 1 and people start comparin his ass to jordan more and more. we dont know wat 2 expect next year, we dont know who is gon be da leader or who is gon lead the team in points or wateva. yea it might be better to win it somewhere else leadin another team. sure that would make him "greater" in other people's eyes. but he doesnt give 2 shits about how people define greatness bc at the end of the day darko milicic and mark madsen have rings and the likes of charles barkley, patrick ewing, karl malone and the list goes on and on doesnt. Now u tellin me that those 2 white boyz are greater then those hall of famers? of course not..but their ring finger is alot heavier! and dats wat matters at the end of the day 2 LBJ..now pass dat..YOW!

LMAO @ D Wade...Iight, but do you really believe that Lebron James doesn't care about being great? You feel like he'd be satisfied without those incredible stats that define his career if he could trade it all to get a ring??

Yo its common sense YOU CANT BE THE KING IF YOU ARE PLAYING THE QUEENS POSITION. how can you even try to be one of the greats but take the easy way out?? he should have stayed in cleveland because Jordan didnt leave the Bulls - Kobe never left the Lakers - No FRANCHISE has ever left a team while in their PRIME to win a ring especially along side someone who already has one!! Karl Malone didnt even leave after losing to Jordan EVERYTIME until his career itself was over and he left for the lakers...THATS THE ONLY TIME ITS CAN BE ACCEPTABLE. MJ even recently said in a interview that KOBE is the best in the NBA hands down. come on yo...ppl been on Lebrons dick for how long now 7 years!!!! Ive seen kids grow up and he still hasnt gotten a ring. AND WE CANT SAY HE DIDNT HAVE A SUPPORTING CAST. so what if SHAQ isnt in his prime he still adds numbers non the less....they did a illegal trade for ILGAUSKAS and then on top of that had JAMISON...and....wack ass mo williams they did all that BITCHIN for his ass to be in the allstar game last yr but yet this nigga didnt do shit during the finals......and if ppl wanna say that wasnt enough ppl....then how come Lebron made it further with even less ppl years before???

But there's so much more to it than the money. That's why people get hot.
The reason b-ball is a big million dollar business is because billions have a similar understanding of the game, and can relate to it. Truthfully, the money is the one part many can't relate to.
So when one as big of a role-model as he is cops out like that. It takes the competitive spirit away from the game. What if all the lil kid lebron fanatics stop wanting to compete and just wanted to team up with the biggest kids at the park to beat up on everybody else. Its sensible, but one who loves Basketball can't argue, these effects of these moves resonate much further than the NBA... - July 14, 2010 at 9:17 AM

We back in, lol............My comments b4 were not objective and were mostly based on emotion. Now dat i have had time to reflect and look at dat situation as a whole dis is da way i see it........ LeBron NEVA wanted 2 be THE GUY. he was forced into a situation where he HAD 2 be. he was NEVA wired like MJ, Magic, Bird, Kobe, etc. so he needed sum1 dat was, ala D-Wade. him goin 2 Miami may not have been popular but i believe it may be da best thing 4 him cuz now he can just be ANOTHA guy on a championship team instead of THE guy. i honestly believe he is perfectly content wit bein Pippen and not MJ and da sooner his FANS realize dat the comparisons will end. aint nothin wrong wit bein Pippen, he a Top 50 NBA player, ppl(his FANS & da media) just need 2 accept dat. Dat trait da MJ, Kobe, Bird, etc. is sumthin a player is born with, not develops over time and i think da LeBron finally realized dat.....he knows his role now and accepts it. So no, it wasnt a cop-out; it was REALIZATION of wat he has been all along.
